At Kombat Group we have a deep knowledge of all Muay Thai Boran traditions, techniques and moves.

Muay Thai Boran requires particular attention during the learning process as it is different from more commonly known Muay Thai in regards to hand wrapping, style of dress, and techniques. The course starts with learning how to correctly tie the rope, called Kad Cheuk, and how to wear the traditional Muay Thai Boran pants.

During the course, you will also learn the Wai Kru. This is a Thai national tradition always performed before a fight. It serves as a rite to pay homage to teachers.

Next, you will learn all of the Muay Thai Boran techniques from basic to advanced: punches, elbows, knee strikes, push kicks and all the various kinds of kicking as well as combination attacks, defence and counterattacks. Our teacher, Kru Yai, was a student of Mr Yod Thong Sivaralak himself who was once honoured as the best Muay Thai Boran teacher in Thailand. Through him, Kru Yai could learn all the secrets of this ancient and very effective martial art.

The course includes:

Muay Thai from 08:45 to 10:00 and from 16:45 to 18:00
Traditional Muay Thai Boran from 18:00 to 19:00

(update: the course is temporarily suspended)
