Our main goal has always been to develop the perfect combination of aerobic weight loss exercises. But without missing out on that bit of adrenaline that comes from watching professional boxers during training. For this reason, all the guests train together in the same structure and in the same time slot. Our competitive athletes train for the purpose of fighting and will follow a special program. While you will have a personalized program to help you reach your goals: to lose weight and to get fit and healthy.
Your Training Program To Lose Weight
Your training sessions will be divided mainly into three phases. The first consists of a functional warm-up: articular movements and shadow boxing, to prepare the whole body for the actual training.
During the shadow box session, you will replicate without impact all the Muay Thai shots: punches, elbows, knees and kicks. All under the careful supervision of our Arjan (grandmaster).
During the second phase, you will follow a specific bag training to lose weight. You will practice following the rhythm of the rounds: 3 minutes of work, 1 minute of pause. This is how Muay Thai becomes one of the best aerobic weight-loss exercises.
Furthermore, Muay Thai is called the art of eight limbs. During training, you will use all the parts of the body to perform various combinations of strokes. With fists and elbows, you will develop mainly the muscles of the arms, chest and back. With knees and kicks, you will work on thighs, calves and buttocks. All these movements are performed in torsion, an extremely beneficial movement to strengthen the abdominal wall and back muscles. And streamline the waistline!
Customized Training Program
Your personalized training program does not include jump rope or jump the tire. And it doesn’t even include sparring or full contact sessions. But vigorous cardiovascular workouts that aim to improve endurance, flexibility and strength.
The risk of accidents is reduced to zero! Our coaches are experts at making you work hard and get the best out of your possibilities. And after just a few days, you will feel like another person!
In the third and final stage of training, you will work with your Kru (Coach) in three or more individual rounds at the pads. This is the time when you will burn more calories! It will be your Kru that will inspire you to give your best.
Immediately afterwards, the teaching of basic combat techniques will begin. You will work in tandem with another participant of the program and together you will repeat the different techniques that will be explained in detail by the Kru.
The training session always ends with abs and stretching, which are essential for the general development of the muscles.
