October 25th to 29th 2011 - Itay Gil Krav Maga Instructors Course Krav Maga Seminar.

Between 25th to the 29th October 2011 Kombat Pattaya hosted an amazing Krav Maga Instructor Course Seminar with world famous Krav Maga expert Itay Gil from Israel who flew especially to Thailand to conduct the event at Kombat on the invitation of Gerry Nolan Krav Maga Instructor in Kombat. Itay Gil is a former Israeli Defense Force Special Forces commando who served as a combat fighter in the Yamam a highly elite counter terrorist unit and also served in IDF special forces, Itay was also director of training for the Israeli Border Police and their specialist top secret Yamam unit.

Over 20 people from all over the world, hailing from countries such as Australia, USA, United Kingdom, Ireland, Malaysia and Singapore attended the event. Most of the people attending were training for Krav Maga Instructor Certification with Itay Gil, and everyone already were experienced martial artists in the own right.

The Krav Maga Seminar ran for 5 days and almost 40 hours of intensive full contact Krav Maga training and instruction by Itay. Everyone learned techniques from the main areas that Krav Maga is famous for such as unarmed combat, self defense, escapes from grabs and chokes, knife attacks and how to defend knife attacks using krav maga, and real world gun disarms were taught by Itay. The interesting point is many of the Krav Maga techniques taught were updated and differed from the normally seen Krav Maga moves because Itay improved many of the original krav maga techniques based on his experience of training real world operatives in the IDF whose lives depend on the use of krav maga.

After much hard training, and a few retries by some candidates during the grueling testing phases of the krav maga instructor seminar, everyone who attended passed the standard specified by Itay to become a Krav Maga Instructor. All attendees were presented with a beautiful Krav Maga Instructor Certificated by Itay Gil. Everyone who came to the seminar trained extremely hard, learned a lot of new updated krav maga techniques, and had a wonderful time here at Kombat Pattaya. It was an amazing event, very successful and we would like to thank krav maga expert Itay Gil for coming to Kombat in Pattaya Thailand to do the seminar.
