I started train Brazilian Ju Jitsu in Oslo, Norway, in 1996, when the style first came to Norway.
Two swedish fighters, Richard Bohlenius and Kari Heiskanen started Scandinavian Brazilian Ju Jitsu Academy.
I love the fighting style from first training and the superior techniques for MMA, Vale Tudo fighting.
UFC had just started in USA and the Gracie's won everything that was about MMA. MMA has developed since then and the popularity in the world has
exploded.
Today, MMA fighters cross-train grappling, boxing and Muay Thai.
In 1999 I went to Brasil and trained and lived there for 1 year. I trained under Black Belt Marcelo Xougi at Gracie Ipanema.
Today, many of the best MMA fighters in the world are still Brazilian Ju Jitsu artists in fighting style and for more than 89 years the style has proven it's superiority compared to other fighting styles.
Come and enjoy Brazilian Ju Jitsu at Pattaya Kombat Club in Thailand and learn the best MMA techniques here.
Sincerely. |
